Pill Street Autumn Planting Done
Huge thanks to everyone who came down to help complete the autumn planting of the bank today! It was fantastic to see even more new faces for a frantic hour of planting.
Highlights from today:
💚 Great to get the first of the spring bulbs - yes it’s that time already.
💚 The ground didn’t disappoint - we found more rubble.
💚 Despite the recent rain, the plants needed more water.
💚 Really great lovely to have even more new people join in and lend a hand.
Any new planting is always an experiment; we will be leaving the new planting to settle in over winter to see what fourishes and what might need a little more support.
The new planting on Pill Street was been made possible through the support of North Somerset Council.
