Pill Street Planting Update: Phase One Done!
Huge thanks to everyone who came down to help out on the bank today! It was a fantastic hour of digging, planting, and proper village teamwork.
A few highlights from the morning:
💚 We powered through the tricky ground and got a fantastic mix of drought-tolerant plants set in (who knew planting on top of demolished houses could be challenging!)
💚 Really lovely to have new people join in and lend a hand.
💚 The bees and butterflies have already moved in to inspect the new pollinator-friendly additions! 🐝🦋
Biggest thanks go to OvenGleamers for letting us use their water this morning 🌸
The new planting on Pill Street was been made possible through the support of North Somerset Council.
Phase Two is set for Sunday 20th September, when we’ll be tackling the second half of the plot.
Everyone is welcome - whether you came today or want to help out for the first time.
